P.C. Verrone is an Afro-Native writer of Kiowa and Osage descent. His work has appeared in Nightmare, FIYAH, PodCastle, Strange Horizons, and numerous anthologies, including the sequel to the bestselling Never Whistle at Night. He has received the Otherwise Award, a Tin House Residency, and won WNDB’s Black Creatives Revisions Workshop. He graduated from Harvard College and holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Rutgers University–Newark. His debut novel Rabbit, Fox, Tar is forthcoming in June 2026.
