She has been awarded Fellowships and Residencies from Tin House, MacDowell, the Carnegie Corporation, Millay Arts, and the Clarion West Writers Workshop. Her stories and essays have appeared, or are forthcoming in Strange Horizons, Black Warrior Review, Diabolical Plots and elsewhere.
