Amy H. Sturgis
Amy H. Sturgis earned her Ph.D. from Vanderbilt University and specializes in the intellectual history of speculative fiction. She is the author of four books and over sixty essays, and she has edited or co-edited ten books. Some of her most recent works include the co-edited volumes Star Trek: Essays Exploring the Final Frontier and Star Wars: Essays Exploring a Galaxy Far, Far Away as well as an essay in the forthcoming The Oxford Handbook of Shirley Jackson. A faculty member at Signum University, she also contributes “Looking Back on Genre History” segments to the StarShipSofa podcast. Her website is amyhsturgis.com.
