His 'crime' was accidentally letting dude's girlfriend that he had cheated on a test. She then left him.

yeeeah...did I miss something too? What was his crime? Why was Terry and Amanda floating around in the water at the end?

I would re-listen but the story just wasn't interesting enough to do so. I'm a huge fan of Pseudopod, don't get me wrong, but every now and then there's stories like this that make me think wtf were they thinking. ;)

The flashbacks made me intensely curious but never added up to anything, in my opinion. And the duel wasn't so much a duel but one guy waiting for the other to come kill him. The value of the story was less than the sum of its parts.

loved this story, I agree with another listener who said they could feel the over arching doom of the whole situation, I could too and it made me anxious the whole way through; and I dont scare easily I may add,

good job !!

This was a tough story to listen to. The protagonist's refusal to fight back... sucked.

This story really got to me. The sense of doom kept on creeping over me. I thought that maybe Terry would be able to fight his way out, but I guess not.

The good news is that people who would do things like this always end up getting caught...

Right?

so what is the best strategy in this situation? run? i mean they talk about hunting you down but come on... thats a lot of work for disipated rich kids. throw the gun away and let them beat you up? it seems unlikely your oponent would shoot you since the whole point of a duel is to make it look reasonable...
