I mentioned “Finding Allison” under next week’s comments, and I don’t have much else to say about it. But I have to disagree with Chornbe. I think Mr. Stewart is an excellent narrator, both here on Pseudopod and on Escape Pod.

Wow. I just did not like this one at all. It was trite, it was transparent and it was hollow. Good idea that's been done to death, and done better almost every other time.

Also, the narration was painfully rushed and unengaging.

I much prefer Ben's narrations and I miss Mur :(

Well this one was more like it. Fun mood of decadence though perhaps a bit aimed towards tourists of this lifestyle. I thought the ending was nicely foreshadowed - A nice and nasty twist on the “twist.”

And the movie Ben mentions, I think it was “Citizen Kane.” Wasn’t it?

I definitely thought of a movie while listening to this one. I don’t know for sure if it’s the same one Ben was thinking about, but because of that movie I was expecting the twist to go a different way. So the way it went was something of a pleasant (heh, maybe not-so-pleasant) surprise. Creepy story, for sure.

At the end there was the comment if the characters seemed too out there that perhaps one was not hanging out with the right kind of people, what is it when the characters described are pretty much the only people you know? Maybe I need more odd like friends who appear to be like those I see on TV?

I dont know what movie Ben was talking about…Maybe that’s why I really enjoyed this fix…b/c I didnt see the twist coming. One of my favorites on The Pod. Thank U! More like these, Please! BTW, does anyone know the title of the film mentioned? I’d like to check it out…
