Great description.

I so longed to protect Jack.

The mythos was very good.

I thought JC Hutchins over pronounce some of the words.

JC Hutchens did a great job with this story, especially the clumsy over pronunciation of "Little Boy Leg Bone." Very creepy.

Have to agree. This was probably my favorite story. Nothing like making you wonder which side is good, and which is to be watched more carefullly.

This is easily one of my favorites thusfar. The Gobs and such create a mythology of their own. Really good stuff.

Bravo!
This Richard Warren cat can write.

I love it how you never quite know everything that is going on.
It's also great that hints of a more expansive backstory of the boys' companions is given.

In the end, Myrriden speaks in much more perceptive and adult mannor than a first grader can.

Does this mean myrriden and ther others weren't only his dillusions?

Hah!
Once again, Bravo.

I really liked the story and JC Hutchins did a nice job reading. Of course, I had to keep reminding myself that I wasn't listening to Seventh Son. Man, Killroy 2.0 IS EVERYWHERE!

Aw, what a lovely (& creepy) bedtime story! The description of Myrriden was great, but I wish I could have seen more of the Gobs and the other creatures. I wanted there to be more at the end, but that's probably just me being greedy. ;>

I always thought that what was missing from Chumscrubber and Thumb Sucker was that Spielbergian sense of childlike wonder. That, by focusing on the medication of teenagers, those stories missed the point of psycho-pharmaceutical annihilation of innocence and imagination. So, this story was perfect. I like that when the protagonist imagines himself as being poisoned, he actually is. I also loved that this story points out that there are other kinds of poison besides the ones prescribed by the doctor.
